GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENGAGEMENT
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the services provided by Scientific Services Group Limited. These terms and conditions together with the named client on the order placement form or service agreement, create the basis of the contract between Scientific Services Group LTD and the client.
1.2 Please read these terms and conditions carefully before requesting our services. You should understand that by ordering any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You should print a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference. Agreement to these terms and conditions must be made by you prior to requesting any Services from us.
1.3 We will process your personal data in accordance with the law for the purpose of providing the requested services. All data will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018. No data will be retained longer than necessary.
2. Scientific Services Group LTD
2.1 Scientific Services Group LTD is registered in England and Wales under company number 13453420. Throughout these terms and conditions “we”, “us” and “our” shall refer to Scientific Services Group Ltd, and, where appropriate, its employees, agents and consultants. Our registered address is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, UK. Our lead environmental consultant is a members of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. Our service is only intended for use by people resident in the United Kingdom.
2.2 The Client
a) THE CLIENT means the CLIENT specified on either the Service Agreement or Booking Form. A CLIENT can be either residential or commercial. Throughout these terms and conditions “you”, “your” and “yours” shall refer to THE CLIENT and, where appropriate, your family, employees, agents and consultants.
b) By placing an order with us, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts, you are at least 18 years old and you are resident in the United Kingdom.
2. Cancellation & Refund
2.1 We shall provide a full refund minus admin fees which are 2.1% of the transaction amount + 0.20 GBP for cancellations of requested services that include property inspection reports for immigration, HHSRS assessments, drone surveys, housing disrepair survey and pest control services within 24 hours after purchase provided no work has been initiated.
2.2. Should a home visit be performed during the course of a survey and then services canceled after the visit. We shall only refund 20% of the fee charged provided the contractual obligation has not been fulfilled.
2.5. In cases where the contractual obligation has been fulfilled and the service is delivered to the client, but they are unhappy with the quality or content, the client will be referred to the manager who will seek to redress the issue. A full refund will remain at the discretion of the manager in such cases.
4.0 Refund (Duration)
4.1 Refunds typically take 5 working days to reach the recipient’s bank account. However, this process can take longer depending on the bank.
